This site is operated by The Residual Value LLC, a Montana (USA) limited liability company. By using this site or creating an account, you agree to the terms below.

Content license

The terms for using content on this site are explained on the License and Attribution page. Every contribution you submit to the platform (articles, comments, interview answers) is published irrevocably under the licenses stated there, and those licenses are not affected by the closure of your account.

Contributor representations

By submitting content to the platform, you represent that:

• The content is your own, or you hold all rights necessary to share it.
• The content does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, personality, or data protection rights.
• The content has not been taken from another source without permission. Plagiarism is not accepted, whatever the source.

You are responsible for any third-party claims arising from your content.

Comments

Comments are part of the site's content and are published permanently under the terms on the License and Attribution page. To preserve the integrity of comment threads, the following rules apply:

• Deleting a single comment: You may fully delete a comment that has no replies. When you delete a comment that has replies, a "This comment has been removed" placeholder remains in its place and the replies below it are preserved.
• Deleting your account: When you delete your account, your personal data (name, avatar, profile) is removed; your comments remain published anonymously.
• Exception: A comment whose text directly identifies you or another person will be redacted or removed on request. You can send your request to hello@frontendmentorsolutions.io.

Accounts

An account is needed only for commenting, the newsletter, and monthly supporter membership. You can read everything on this site without one. Creating an account does not subscribe you to the newsletter; subscribing is a separate choice, made through the newsletter form, and can be reversed at any time from your account settings or with the unsubscribe link in any email. To create an account you must be at least 13 years old, or older where your country sets a higher minimum age for consenting to the processing of personal data.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or abuse the platform, for example through spam, harassment, or plagiarism. When an account is closed this way, membership data is handled as in account deletion below, and published contributions remain online under their irrevocable licenses, as described on the License and Attribution page.

Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@frontendmentorsolutions.io from your registered address; requests are handled within 30 days at the latest. Deletion removes your membership data; your contributions remain published anonymously, as described above and on the License and Attribution page. How your personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy.

Moderation

frontendmentorsolutions.io reserves the right to remove, edit, or decline to publish any content that violates these terms, is unlawful, is misleading, or harms the community, without prior notice. The behavior expected from everyone on the platform is described in the Code of Conduct.

Sponsors and advertising

The site and the newsletter may carry sponsor placements and advertising, which are always labeled as such. A sponsor placement is not a recommendation by frontendmentorsolutions.io or its contributors, and any dealings with a sponsor are between you and the sponsor. Following a sponsor's link takes you off this site, where the sponsor's own terms and privacy policy apply. Sponsors have no influence over the site's content or editorial decisions, and there are no sponsored articles; how sponsorship works is described on the Support the Site page, and what a sponsor does and does not receive in the Privacy Policy.

Copyright complaints

We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA); our designated agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (registration number DMCA-1080319). The agent's contact details, what a valid notice and a counter-notice must contain, and how repeat infringers are handled are on the Copyright Complaints page. Complaints that are not about copyright (trademark, privacy, personal data) can be sent to hello@frontendmentorsolutions.io as described on the Contact page.

Content on this site is for educational purposes and is provided "as is". We take care to keep it accurate and up to date; however, any consequences arising from its use are the responsibility of the user.

The site and its content are provided free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Residual Value LLC and the site's contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes are published on this page with their date; significant changes are announced to members by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the current terms.

Governing law and contact
