Sending a notice

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice to the designated agent above. For the notice to be effective it must include:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  • identification of the material you claim is infringing, with the URL where it appears on this site;
  • your address, telephone number, and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

On receiving a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material promptly and notify the person who posted it. If a notice is incomplete but identifies the copyrighted work and the material on this site, we contact you so that you can complete it; notices that lack this basic information may not be acted on.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent. It must include:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the removed material and the URL where it appeared before removal;
  • a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  • your name, address, and telephone number;
  • a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which The Residual Value LLC may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

We forward counter-notices to the original complainant. The material is restored between 10 and 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice, unless the complainant informs us before then that they have filed a court action to keep it down.

Repeat infringers and misrepresentation

Accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright are closed. Under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for the resulting damages.

Other complaints

Complaints that are not about copyright (trademark, privacy, personal data) can be sent to hello@frontendmentorsolutions.io as described on the Contact page. The rest of the rules for using this site are in the Terms of Use.
